We are currently navigating a significant hurdle with frontline leader retention, which has a direct downstream impact on our frontline employee turnover.rnrnWe’ve noticed a pattern where new leaders exit within the first few months. The consistent feedback is that the role is more taxing than anticipated—specifically regarding the required "in-seat" time with drivers and technicians and the pressure of managing in a highly metric-heavy environment.rnrnHas anyone successfully implemented Realistic Job Previews (RJPs) or immersion programs that effectively "de-glamorize" the role during the interview stage without scaring off top talent? I’m specifically looking for ways to better align expectations around:rnrnThe balance of field vs. office time.rnrnResilience in high-accountability, data-driven cultures.rnrnI would love to hear how others in the Birmingham market are preparing leaders for the "grit" of frontline operations.

Interesting question, Isaac! We should do some quasi-experiments to answer that question empirically :)
